The Karate Kid !

Hi everyone=)

This week is the time to write about a film we like or our best film so that’s why I spent some time thinking of it and I realized one of the movies that like most it’s The Karate Kid 2010.

The Karate Kid is directed by Harald Zwart and produced mainly by Jada and Will Smith. This movie it’s a remake of The Karate Kid 1984 even though the storyline it’s a bit changed. It describes the life of a young boy called Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) and her mother who have to move from Detroit to Beijing looking for a job. Immediately he falls in love with a girl from his classroom, Mei (Wen Wen Han), and that feeling is mutual soon. Although he tries to be near her, it’s impossible for him because of the cultural differences. As a result of that, he makes an enemy in the school, who wants Dre far from Mei. That boy starts hitting him using the skills he has about kung fu. Nevertheless, Dre finally gets to know Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) who would teach him the real kung fu.

The film is quite interesting and you can learn important lessons with it. The acting of the main characters is excellent too. Despite of the fact that Jaden Smith it’s little kid we can noticed how hard he has worked to play his role and the result was impressing. In addition, the visual effects are spectacular, for the reason that Harald had the chance to film in the Forbidden City and in the Great Wall of China.

To sum up, The Karate Kid is well known all around the world. It last two hours and it’s quite amusing with whom you can have a great time seeing it. So make sure you see this movie, you won’t regret it!
